Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Yoplait Healthy Heart Yogurt. I ain’t no doctor or nothin’, but I know what tastes good and what keeps me goin’. This here yogurt, it’s somethin’ else.
First off, they say it’s got them plant sterols. Now, I don’t know what a sterol is, sounds like somethin’ you put in your tractor, but they say it’s good for your heart. Keeps that ticker tickin’ strong, like a good ol’ rooster in the mornin’. They tell me it helps lower that bad stuff, what they call LDL cholesterol. I guess that’s important, though I never had no trouble with my heart, thank the Lord.

This yogurt, it ain’t like that thick, heavy stuff you sometimes get. It’s kinda light and smooth, goes down real easy. And the taste? Well, it’s pretty darn good. I tried the strawberry kind, and it’s sweet, but not too sweet, you know? Just right for a little somethin’ in the mornin’ or maybe a snack in the afternoon. They got other flavors too, I hear, but I ain’t tried ’em yet. Maybe next time I go to the store.
- Good for your heart: Like I said, them plant thingies are supposed to be good for ya.
- Tastes good: Not too sour, not too sweet, just right.
- Full of good stuff: They say it’s got calcium and protein. Good for your bones and muscles, I reckon. And vitamins too, like A and D, and some other things I can’t even pronounce. Potassium, magnesium… sounds fancy, huh?
- Low in bad stuff: They say it’s low in sugar and fat, which is good, I guess. I ain’t tryin’ to get all big and round, you know? And not too many calories neither, so you ain’t gotta worry ‘bout eatin’ too much.
Now, I ain’t gonna lie to ya, this yogurt ain’t gonna fix all your problems. You still gotta eat your vegetables and get some exercise. But it’s a good little snack, and if it helps my heart, well, that’s just a bonus. It’s got them live and active cultures, whatever those are. They say it helps your tummy, keeps things movin’ along, if you know what I mean.
I heard some folks sayin’ it’s got a good bit of unsaturated fat from the cashews they use sometimes. That’s the good kinda fat, they say. Helps keep your insides workin’ right, keeps that cholesterol down. I tell ya, hearin’ all this stuff makes my head spin sometimes, but if it’s good for me, I ain’t complainin’.
One of them little cups, it’s got about 180 calories, they say. Most of it’s them carbs, whatever those are, and then a little bit of fat and some protein. Enough to keep you goin’ for a while, I reckon. And it’s got a good amount of that calcium stuff, keeps your bones strong so you can keep on workin’ in the garden or chasin’ after them grandkids.
So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ tasty and maybe a little bit good for ya, give this Yoplait Healthy Heart Yogurt a try. It ain’t gonna hurt ya, and it might just do ya some good. Like I always say, a little bit of somethin’ good every day keeps the doctor away. Or somethin’ like that.
Just remember, eat it in moderation, they say. Don’t go eatin’ a whole bucketful at once, now. A little bit at a time is all you need. And don’t forget to eat your greens and get some fresh air. That’s the real secret to stayin’ healthy, I reckon. But this yogurt, it’s a good start.
