Well, let me tell ya, those wind thingy stocks, they’re somethin’ else. Folks keep jabberin’ about ’em, sayin’ they’re the future. Future this, future that, I say. Back in my day, future was just gettin’ the crops in before the frost.
But these young’uns, they got their eyes on them big ol’ windmills. You know, the ones that spin around like crazy when the wind’s blowin’ hard. They say it makes electricity, clean stuff, not like that dirty coal stuff they used to burn. I don’t know much about it, but they say it’s good for the air and all.
Now, there’s this company, General Electric, they make all sorts of things, from washing machines to them big airplane engines. Heard tell they’re into these windmills too. Big company, lots of money, folks say it’s a safe bet. But safe bet or not, you still gotta watch your pennies. That’s what my old man always said.

Then there’s this other one, NextEra Energy. They’re even bigger, they say. World’s biggest, they claim, makin’ electricity from the wind and the sun. Sun too! Imagine that, catchin’ the sun’s power. They got them big ol’ batteries too, store up all that electricity. Sounds fancy, don’t it?
NextEra, they been around a long time, hundred years or somethin’. Started out small, but now they’re everywhere, got windmills and sun catchers all over the place. They must be doin’ somethin’ right, I reckon. Folks say they know what they’re doin’, management and all.
But listen here, these stocks, they go up and down, like a seesaw. One day you’re rich, next day you’re scratchin’ for a nickel. It’s like farmin’, sometimes you get a good harvest, sometimes the bugs eat it all up. You gotta be careful, don’t just throw your money at the first shiny thing you see.
These young folks, they talk about “market value” and “industrials” and all that fancy talk. I just wanna know if I’m gonna make a little extra money, enough to fix the roof and maybe buy a new pair of shoes. These windmills, they better be worth somethin’.
Wind energy, solar energy, it’s all Greek to me. But if it keeps the lights on and puts a little somethin’ in my pocket, I ain’t complainin’. Just don’t go gamblin’ away your life savings, that’s what I say. You work hard for your money, don’t let some fancy talkin’ fella on the TV take it away from ya.
So, if you’re thinkin’ about buyin’ these wind technology stocks, do your homework. Talk to folks who know what they’re doin’, read the papers, and don’t just jump in with both feet. And remember, a little bit of common sense goes a long way. That’s what my grandma used to say, God rest her soul.
Anyways, that’s all I gotta say about these wind thingys and their stocks. It’s a complicated world, and I’m just an old woman tryin’ to make sense of it all. Just remember, be careful with your money, that’s the most important thing.
