Well, bless your heart, let’s talk about some of them good gins, the kind they say is the best in the world. I ain’t no fancy expert, mind you, but I know what tastes good, and I’ve heard some folks chatterin’ about which ones are the real deal.

Now, they got these competitions, you know, where they give out prizes for the best gins. This year, they had some winners like that “Gale Force Gin,” they called it the “World’s Best London Dry Gin.” London Dry, that’s the kind they say is the real stuff, the kind you gotta have if you’re makin’ one of them “Negroni” drinks. I ain’t never had one myself, sounds too fancy for me.
- Gale Force Gin – World’s Best London Dry Gin
- Ohoro Gin – World’s Best Classic Gin
- Maral – World’s Best Sloe Gin
Then there’s this “Ohoro Gin,” they say it’s the “World’s Best Classic Gin.” And for them folks who like that sweet stuff, there’s “Maral,” the “World’s Best Sloe Gin.” Sloe gin, that’s made with them little berries, right? My grandma used to make somethin’ like that, but she called it somethin’ else, I reckon.
They also got this special thing called the “Gin Hall of Fame.” That’s for folks who’ve spent their whole lives makin’ gin, I guess. Must be some good gin if they’re puttin’ it in a hall of fame, like them baseball players they talk about on the radio.
Now, when it comes to findin’ the best gin for that “Negroni” drink, them fancy folks say it’s gotta be London Dry. Nothin’ else will do, they say. That kind of gin started way back in the 1800s, in that big city, London. They been makin’ it a long time, so I guess they know what they’re doin’.
I heard tell there’s a bunch of good gin brands out there, more than you can shake a stick at. Some of ’em even won these “Double Gold” medals. That sounds mighty fancy, don’t it? Double gold! Must be somethin’ special.

I ain’t tasted all them fancy gins myself. I stick to what I know, the kind that warms you up on a cold night. But if you’re lookin’ for the best, them names I mentioned, that “Gale Force,” “Ohoro,” and “Maral,” they seem to be the ones folks are talkin’ about. And remember, if you’re makin’ one of them “Negronis,” gotta be London Dry. That’s what the experts say, and they usually know a thing or two, even if they do use all them fancy words.
Anyways, that’s all I know about these “best world gins.” Like I said, I ain’t no expert, just a simple old woman who knows what she likes. But if you’re lookin’ for a good gin, maybe this here will help you find one. Just remember to drink it slow and enjoy it, that’s what I always say.
And if you find one you really like, let me know, maybe I’ll give it a try myself, if it ain’t too strong, that is. My old bones ain’t what they used to be, you know.
