So, I got it into my head to start doing this thing called “memo sports.” I know, it sounds a little weird, but the idea is to work out your brain like you work out your body. I mean, we all hit the gym or go for a run, right? But what about giving the old noggin a good workout? That’s where this memo sports thing comes in.
I started off kind of slow. At first, I tried just some simple memory exercises. You know, like remembering a list of words or trying to recall a series of numbers. I gotta say, it was tougher than I thought! My brain felt like it was creaking like an old door.

But I stuck with it. I found some cool apps and websites that had these fun little memory games.
- One had me matching pairs of cards,
- and another had me trying to remember patterns of lights.
It was actually kind of fun, like playing a game, but I could feel my brain working.
Then, I started reading up on how exercise helps your memory. It’s some science stuff about increasing some molecules in your brain that help with learning. So I figured, why not combine the two? I started doing my memory exercises right after my morning jog. Get the blood flowing to the body and the brain, you know?
After a few weeks, I really started to notice a difference. I was remembering things better, like where I put my keys or what I needed to get at the grocery store. And at work, I felt like I could focus better and come up with ideas more easily.
It’s not perfect yet
It’s not like I’m some kind of memory genius now, but I definitely feel sharper. And it’s kind of cool to know that I’m doing something good for my brain, just like I do for my body. So yeah, that’s my little adventure with memo sports. It’s been a fun ride, and I’m definitely gonna keep at it. It is helpful for keeping a healty body.
