Alright, alright, let’s talk about this here “home business crossword clue” thing. I ain’t no fancy wordsmith, ya know? But I reckon I can explain it plain as day.
So, you got this crossword, right? Like them puzzles in the newspaper? And sometimes they ask you about somethin’ you can do from home, a “home business.” Like sellin’ eggs or maybe fixin’ lawnmowers. That’s what they mean, I guess.

Now, the “clue,” that’s the tricky part. They don’t just come right out and say it. They use them fancy words to kinda dance around it. Like instead of sayin’ “sellin’ eggs,” they might say, “farm fresh product provider,” or somethin’ like that. You gotta be a real smarty-pants to figure it out sometimes, I tell ya.
I heard tell there’s folks who spend all day lookin’ up these crossword answers. They got books and websites and all sorts of contraptions. Must be nice to have that much time on your hands. Me? I gotta feed the chickens and tend to the garden. No time for foolin’ around with puzzles, that’s for sure.
- But, from what I hear, you search for these clues and sometimes find loads of answers. Say, for the clue “Stuck on,” one time they found 40 different answers! Land sakes! Who’d a thunk it?
- And some of these answers got lots of letters, ya know? Like 5 or 10 letters! They even tell you what kind of newspapers they got the clues from, like that “New York Times” one all the city folks read.
They even say things like “Daily Celebrity” or “Telegraph”. Sounds all high falutin’ to me! Anyways, when you search for a “home business” clue some answers got 15 letters! Seems like a lot, if you ask me. But I reckon some words just take longer to say, or write out, as the case may be.
You know they look for these answers in all sorts of places. Like that “Wall Street Journal” even has crosswords it seems. Seems kinda odd, all them business folks takin’ time off to do puzzles. I guess even rich folks need to unwind sometimes. I think it’s a little silly really.
Seems like they found answers from October 11th, 2024, but why does the date matter? I sure don’t know. They said one answer for “stuck on” had 7 letters. Well now, that just narrows it right down, doesn’t it? Not like them 40 they found!
And then they give you more hints or meaning to it, Like puttin’ paint on the house or “apply to a surface.” Sounds messy to me. Just like puttin’ on make-up, all smudgy and such! They also found the clue “stuck on” eight times. EIGHT TIMES! Seems like they just like makin’ things hard for us.
They say they have 6 answers for “stuck on,” from a short 5-letter one called “GLUED” all the way up to a long 10-letter word like “ATTACHEDTO.” I reckon glued makes more sense for “stuck on”. Makes me think of when little Jimmy got his fingers stuck together with that super glue. Took us near an hour to get them apart!

But, now they talking about all sorts of stuff, nothing to do with home business, mind you, like dogs and birds and scores. They’re talkin’ about a dog called Mali or a muscular black and tan dog called Rottie and somethin’ about golf and grandparents. I’m not sure why they throwin’ all this stuff in. Maybe them puzzle makers are just tryin’ to confuse ya. That wouldn’t surprise me none.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a “home business crossword clue” answer, I reckon you just gotta keep your eyes peeled and your brain workin’. Think about all the things folks do from home. And don’t be afraid to try a few different words. Sometimes the answer ain’t as hard as it seems. And sometimes it is! But that’s part of the fun, I guess.
Anyways, I gotta go now. Them chickens ain’t gonna feed themselves, you know. Good luck with that crossword puzzle, and don’t go lettin’ it get the best of ya. There’s more important things in life than fillin’ in little squares.
