Okay, so today I want to talk about this whole “Rich Lowry Health” thing. I’ve been trying to get my act together health-wise, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey.
First off, I started by just looking at what I was eating. No fancy diets or anything, just paying attention. It’s crazy how much junk I was putting into my body without even realizing it. I cut back on the obvious stuff, like fast food and sugary snacks. It wasn’t easy, but I figured it was a good first step.

Drinks Matter Too
- I tried to drink more water.
- I mostly stopped with the soda.
- Juice is still there, but less.
Then, I thought about exercise. I’m no gym rat, but I started walking more. I park further away from the store, take the stairs instead of the elevator, that kind of stuff. Baby steps, right? It actually made a difference. I felt more energized, and my clothes started fitting a little better. Feels good, man.
Moving My Body
- Walking more is key.
- Stairs, not elevators.
- Tried some light workouts at home, nothing crazy.
Stress is a big one. I always thought of myself as a pretty chill person, but life happens, you know? I started doing some simple things to manage my stress levels. Deep breaths, man. They work. I also tried to make more time for things I enjoy, like reading or just hanging out with friends. It’s all about balance.
Chill Out Time
- Deep breaths, seriously.
- More time for hobbies.
- Hanging with friends more often.
Sleep. Oh, sleep. I used to stay up late all the time, just scrolling through my phone or watching TV. But I realized that was messing me up. So, I made a conscious effort to get to bed earlier and tried to establish a bedtime routine. It’s not perfect, but I definitely feel more rested in the mornings.
Sleep is Important
- Getting to bed earlier, which is tough.
- Less screen time before bed.
- Trying to keep a regular sleep schedule.
It is not easy, but I kept going. I am getting better. I am feeling better. This “Rich Lowry Health” thing, it’s really about making small changes that add up over time. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about progress. And I’m happy to say that I’m making progress.
So, that’s my story so far. I’m no expert, just a regular guy trying to be a little healthier. If I can do it, anyone can. Just take it one step at a time, and you’ll get there. Trust me. You’ve got this, and I’ve got this too!
