They had a lot of sessions about AI, and it got me wondering if I could use AI like they do in these meetings, just for fun. Turns out, I could. For example, I found some cool AI tools online that can summarize meeting notes, and it is really handy and saves you a lot of time.
Next, I tried to get a feel for what it’s like on the ground. I looked into what a company called Real Time Networks is doing. They spent a whole year talking to law enforcement folks, and it made me think, “I should try to understand their perspective.” I found their website and read their information.

I wanted to see how this works in practice, so I searched for any demos or case studies I could find. It was pretty complicated, but I started to get the gist of it. Lastly, I realized that all this tech is meant to make policing smarter and more efficient. I tried to apply some of these ideas to my own little projects, like organizing my personal data and using AI to help me sort through it. Even though it’s not the same as real police work, it gave me a taste of how powerful these tools can be.
