Alright, so you wanna know about this Nate Bargatze fella, huh? And what’s all this talk about politics with him? Well, lemme tell ya what I know, the way I know how to say it. Don’t expect no fancy words from me, alright?
First off, this Nate guy, he’s a comedian. You know, tells jokes and stuff. Folks seem to like him a whole lot. They call him the “Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” Can you believe that? In this day and age, being nice is somethin’ special, I reckon.

Nate Bargatze: The Comedian, Not the Politician
Now, about the politics part. From what I gather, Nate ain’t exactly running for president or nothin’. He’s not one of them fellas on TV yellin’ and arguin’ all the time. He’s a comedian, plain and simple. He tells stories, jokes about everyday life, you know, the kinda stuff we all can relate to. He talks about his family, silly things that happen to him. He ain’t tryin’ to preach to ya or tell ya how to vote.
But see, some folks, they always gotta try and put you in a box. They wanna know if you’re this or that, left or right. And with Nate bein’ popular and all, people start wonderin’, “Well, what’s his deal? Who does he vote for?” From what I hear, he kinda became famous during that time when that fella, Trump, was president. Folks started noticin’ him around then. He had some shows on that Netflix thing, that’s what the youngins watch these days.
- He’s got a new show out now, on Netflix too. It’s called “Your Friend, Nate Bargatze”. Sounds friendly enough, don’t it?
- He’s even goin’ on tour, they call it the “Big Dumb Eyes World Tour.” I ain’t sure what that means, but folks seem excited about it. He’s gonna be in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, all over the place.
But just because he got popular durin’ that time don’t mean he’s all about politics. It just means people were watchin’ TV more, maybe lookin’ for somethin’ to laugh at. And Nate, well, he gave ’em somethin’ to laugh at.
Staying Out of the Political Mud Pit
Now, some comedians, they get right in the middle of the political mess. They make jokes about politicians, take sides, all that. But Nate, he seems to stay away from that kinda stuff, mostly. He might poke fun at things everyone can agree on, you know, like how silly some things are, but he ain’t tryin’ to start no fights. And that’s probably why folks like him so much. He’s just tryin’ to make people laugh, not make ’em mad.
I heard someone sayin’ he’s got a broad appeal, which I guess means lots of different folks like him. And that makes sense to me. If you’re always yellin’ about politics, you’re gonna turn some people off. But if you’re just bein’ funny and tellin’ good stories, well, most folks can get behind that.

Focusing on Family and Faith
From what I hear, Nate’s a family man. Got a wife and kids, and he talks about them in his shows. And he’s a man of faith, too. That tells ya somethin’ about a person, I think. A man who cares about his family and believes in somethin’ bigger than himself, well, he’s probably not tryin’ to stir up trouble. He’s just tryin’ to make a livin’ and make people happy.
So, if you’re lookin’ for some big political statement from Nate Bargatze, you’re probably gonna be disappointed. He’s just a regular fella, tellin’ jokes and makin’ people laugh. And in this world, that’s somethin’ we could all use a little more of, ain’t it? Less arguin’, more laughin’. That’s what I say.
Nate Bargatze’s comedy seems to be about finding humor in everyday life, not about pushing a political agenda. He became popular during a politically charged time, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a political figure. He seems to focus on relatable experiences, family, and faith, which appeals to a wide range of people. And that’s why, I reckon, he’s become so darn popular.
