Okay, so yesterday I finally checked out that mopop museum everyone’s been talking about. I’d seen pictures online, but you know, it’s always different in person.
Getting There
First off, finding the place was a bit of a mission. I thought it would be super obvious, but it’s tucked away a little. I ended up circling the block once before I spotted the entrance. Note to self: double-check the map before heading out next time.I walked straight to my destination.

Inside the Museum
Once I got inside, though, it was pretty cool. The lobby area is all modern and spacious, and the staff were friendly enough. I grabbed a map – definitely recommend doing that, it’s a bit of a maze in there – and started exploring.
- The first exhibit I hit was the music one. They had all these interactive displays where you could listen to different genres and learn about the history of pop music. I spent way too long messing around with the mixing board, pretending I was a DJ.
- Then I wandered into the sci-fi section. That was probably my favorite part. They had costumes and props from all the classic movies and TV shows. I even saw a *’s so cool!
- There was also a whole area dedicated to video games, which was awesome. I played a few rounds of some retro games,I felt really happy.
- I have to say, some of the exhibits were a little… underwhelming. There was one room that was just a bunch of posters, and I was like, “Okay, I could’ve seen this online.” But overall, there was enough cool stuff to keep me entertained.
Finishing Up
I ended up spending about three hours there, and honestly, I could’ve stayed longer.I bought a small souvenir.I left there so * the time I left, I was starving, so I grabbed a burger at that place across the street. All in all, a pretty solid day. I’d recommend checking out the mopop museum if you’re looking for something to do. Just maybe eat beforehand, and definitely wear comfortable shoes!
