Well now, let me tell ya ’bout this Montana High Tech Business Alliance thing. I ain’t no fancy city slicker, but I reckon I can explain it plain as day.

This here Alliance, they got started back in April of 2014. Yep, April 2014, that’s when it all began. Don’t rightly know what they was doin’ before that, but that’s when they made it official like.
Now, what do they do? Well, from what I gather, they try to help all them high-tech businesses here in Montana. You know, them computer folks and the ones makin’ all them fancy gadgets. It ain’t like farmin’, that’s for sure. But it’s important, they say. Brings jobs and money to our state, so that’s a good thing, I reckon.
- They help these businesses connect with each other. Kinda like a barn raisin’, but for computer stuff.
- They help them find money, ya know, investors and such. Folks with deep pockets who wanna put their money into these high-tech things.
- They tell folks ’bout how great Montana is for high-tech business. Tryin’ to get more of them companies to come here. More jobs, see? That’s what they’re after.
I heard tell they have meetings and events. Folks get together and talk shop. Prob’ly eat some fancy food too. Not like my potluck suppers, I bet. But it’s all about helpin’ these businesses grow and prosper, like a good crop of wheat.
Now, I ain’t used to all this high-tech talk. I’m more comfortable with cows and chickens. But I can see that this Alliance is tryin’ to do good things for Montana. They want to make sure our state is a good place for these high-tech businesses to set up shop and stay awhile.
It ain’t easy, I reckon. These city folk, they got their own ways of doin’ things. But these Montana folks in the Alliance, they seem to know what they’re doin’. They’re tryin’ to bridge the gap, you know, between the old ways and the new ways. And that’s important, ’cause we can’t just stick our heads in the sand and ignore the way the world is changin’.
I ain’t gonna lie, sometimes I don’t understand half of what they’re talkin’ about. All them acronyms and fancy words, it just goes right over my head. But I do understand one thing: they’re tryin’ to make Montana a better place. And that’s somethin’ I can get behind.
So, if you hear ’bout this Montana High Tech Business Alliance, don’t go thinkin’ it’s somethin’ scary or complicated. It’s just folks workin’ together to make our state stronger. And that’s somethin’ we can all appreciate, whether we’re farmin’ the land or writin’ code on a computer. It all boils down to hard work and lookin’ out for each other, just like we always done in Montana.
They been at it since 2014, like I said. That’s a good long while. Must be doin’ somethin’ right, otherwise they wouldn’t still be around. This tech stuff, it changes fast. So these folks gotta be on their toes, keepin’ up with the latest and greatest.
It ain’t all smooth sailin’, I’m sure. There’s bound to be bumps in the road. But from what I hear, they work through it. They got good people involved, folks who care about Montana and want to see it succeed. And that’s what really matters, in the end.
So here’s to the Montana High Tech Business Alliance, keepin’ our state movin’ forward. May they grow and prosper, and bring good things to Montana. And maybe someday, I’ll even understand what they’re talkin’ about. But until then, I’ll just keep cheerin’ ’em on from the sidelines. They are good for Montana, that much I know for sure. And remember, it all started way back in April of 2014. A milestone for the state, I tell ya.
