Well, I heard about that shooting in MetroTech. My goodness, that’s scary stuff. City’s getting so bad, it is. You can’t even go downtown no more without worrying about some crazy shooting up the place.
MetroTech Shooting, What Happened?
I heard it happened right there in Brooklyn, in that MetroTech Center. Busy place, that is. Lots of folks going to work, students from that NYU, all sorts of people just minding their own business. Then, bang bang! Someone starts shooting. Scared the daylights out of everyone, I bet.
I heard it was in the morning time, too. Right when everyone’s rushing around. Can you imagine? You’re just trying to get to work or class, and suddenly, you gotta duck for cover? Lord have mercy. It’s just not right.

- Happened right in that MetroTech Center.
- Lots of people around, a real busy place.
- Downtown Brooklyn is getting scary, I hear.
They say nobody got killed, thank the good Lord. But someone got shot in the arm, I heard. Poor fella. Just walking by, minding his own business, and bam! Gets shot. That’s just awful. You just never know these days, do you?
Shooting in Brooklyn, It’s So Bad
This MetroTech shooting, it’s just another bad thing. This city is going downhill. Every day, you hear about another shooting, another robbery, another something bad. Makes you afraid to even leave the house. And Downtown Brooklyn, used to be a nice place, all that. Now, you don’t know. Shots fired in Brooklyn, all the time, almost.
And that NYU, right there near MetroTech. All those young kids, going to school, trying to learn something. And now they gotta worry about some crazy with a gun? It’s just not fair. They should be safe, you know? Not having to run and hide from bullets. This Brooklyn subway station shooting is no good, either.
- NYU students had to run, they were scared.
- Shooting happened near the school, in Downtown Brooklyn.
- City’s just not safe no more, that’s what I think.
- This MetroTech shooting just proves it.
What’s Going On?
I don’t know what’s going on with this world. People just seem so angry all the time. And they got these guns, and they just start shooting. Don’t care who gets hurt. It’s just terrible. You never used to hear about this kind of thing, not like this. Now every single day. It’s sad, it really is. The MetroTech Center is a busy area, how could it happen?
They need to do something about these guns. Too many crazy people getting their hands on them. That’s what I think. And they need to do something about these angry people, too. Figure out why they’re so mad all the time. Maybe then we wouldn’t have so many shootings. Maybe then MetroTech Center would be safe again. That Downtown Brooklyn area needs to be safe again.

Well, I’m just glad nobody got killed in that MetroTech shooting. But it’s still a shame. A real shame. People getting hurt, people getting scared. Just another day in the city, I guess. But it shouldn’t be like that. It really shouldn’t. We need to do better. We need to make things safer. For everyone. Especially those kids at NYU, and all the folks just trying to go about their day in Downtown Brooklyn.
Lord, I hope they catch the person who did this MetroTech shooting. Hope that fella is gonna be ok. It is a mess out there. A real mess. All these shots fired in Brooklyn. Need to stop, need to stop now.
Well, that’s all I know about that shooting. Hope they find the one who did it. Crazy world these days. Just crazy. People shooting at MetroTech Center, in broad daylight. What’s this world coming to, I just don’t know. This kind of thing, it just makes you worry, you know? About everything. Used to be, you could just go about your day. Now? Now you gotta worry about some fool with a gun. In MetroTech, of all places. It is a shame. A real shame.
