Okay, so today I decided to dig into the Lummi Tribal Health Center. I’ve heard about it in passing, but I wanted to really see what it’s all about, from a practical, user-experience perspective.
Initial Exploration
First, I tried to get a general sense of the place. What services do they offer? Who do they serve? Just basic stuff, you know?

I spent some time poking around, trying to piece together information.
Digging Deeper
After getting a basic overview, I wanted to understand how someone would actually use the center. What’s the process? What do they need to know beforehand?
- I looked for info about making appointments. How does that work? Is it phone calls only, or is there an online system?
- I checked for details on what documents, like insurance info or tribal identification, someone might need to bring.
- I tried to find out operating hours to understand when service is available.
- I tried to find what kind of specific helth problem that they can help.
Putting It All Together
After gathering all this information, my goal was to create a sort of “user guide” in my head. If I were explaining this to a friend, what would I tell them?
I tried to understand the services that they have. I tried to put the practical information together, like making the appointment, needing documents, and knowing their operation hours.
