Okay, so today I wanted to dive into the world of sports movies. I’ve always been a huge fan, and I figured, why not make a list of some of my favorites and see what others think?
First off, I grabbed my laptop and opened up a fresh document. Gotta start somewhere, right? Then, I just started brainstorming. I listed out every sports movie I could think of off the top of my head. “Remember the Titans,” “Rocky,” “A League of Their Own” — they all went down on the page.
After that, I decided to categorize them. It seemed like a good way to organize my thoughts. I created some basic categories like “Football,” “Baseball,” “Boxing,” and “Other.” It was actually kinda fun seeing them all sorted out like that.

Next, I wanted to add a little more detail. So, for each movie, I jotted down a quick sentence or two about why I liked it. For example, next to “Hoosiers,” I wrote something like, “Classic underdog story, gets me every time.” Simple stuff, but it helped me remember what made each movie special.
Then, I thought it would be cool to rank them within each category. This was tougher than I expected! How do you compare “Rudy” to “Friday Night Lights”? They’re both great but in different ways. Anyway, I gave it my best shot and came up with a ranking that felt right to me.
Finally, I looked over the whole thing and made a few tweaks here and there. I added a couple more movies that I’d forgotten, and I rearranged the order of a few in the rankings. After all that, I have to say the list felt pretty solid, and pretty interesting.
