So, I was digging around the internet, trying to find out if S&S Aqua Logging is still a thing. You know, that company that used to pull out old logs from rivers and lakes? I always thought it was a cool idea, reclaiming lost timber and all that. So I started my little investigation.
First, I hit up Google, just a simple search to see what would pop up. Typed in “S&S Aqua Logging” and scrolled through the results. Found a bunch of old articles, some forum posts, nothing really recent. It was like a ghost town. I thought to myself “That doesn’t look good”.

- Checked their website.
- Looked for any social media presence – Facebook, Twitter, you name it.
- Dug through online business directories.
Their website, if there was one, was probably long gone. Social media? Nada. Zilch. Directories? They listed them, but all the info looked super outdated. I started to get the feeling that they weren’t around anymore.
More research I did
I decided to go a bit deeper. I searched for news articles, maybe something about them closing down or changing hands. Scoured some online forums where people talk about logging and stuff. I even tried to find contact info for the owners, just to see if I could get a straight answer. Most of this was a dead end though.
After all that digging, I’m pretty sure S&S Aqua Logging is no more. It’s a bummer, really. I liked the whole idea of what they were doing. But hey, businesses come and go, right? It was an interesting little journey, trying to track them down. Sometimes, the internet doesn’t have all the answers, especially when it comes to stuff that’s a bit off the beaten path. I guess I should accept the fact and move on. It’s just one of those things.
