Okay, so, I’ve been hearing a lot of rumors lately about Beachbody, you know, that workout and nutrition company? People have been saying they’re going out of business. Naturally, I got curious and decided to dig into it myself.
First, I started by reading some stuff online. I saw that Beachbody changed its name to BODi. Seems like they’re trying to rebrand themselves. Then I found out they’re making some pretty big changes to how they do business.

Apparently, they’re ditching the whole multi-level marketing thing. You know, where people sign up to be coaches and sell products to their friends and family? Yeah, they’re getting rid of that. Instead, they’re gonna use an affiliate program. That means people can still promote their stuff, but it’s more like a regular referral thing.
So, I started to pay attention to the news about it. I noticed it on September 30th, and there’s a piece of official announcement from the company about this change.
- First step: I kept an eye on company announcements.
- Next: I read through the details of this affiliate program they’re launching.
- Then: I compared it to how their old coaching program worked.
I also read that they’re cutting a bunch of jobs, like one-third of their workforce. That’s a lot of people! It seems like they’re really trying to cut costs and streamline things.
My Investigation
I started thinking, maybe this whole coaching thing wasn’t working out for them. I mean, I’ve heard some people say that it’s hard to make real money as a Beachbody coach. You gotta work your butt off for a long time before you see any decent cash.
And I found out that they will stop their operation in UK and France, these two countries can still get access to their platform.
So, after putting all the pieces together, here’s what I think: Beachbody, or BODi, isn’t exactly going out of business, but they’re definitely changing things up big time. They’re trying to survive by switching up their business model and cutting costs. It’s like they’re hitting the reset button. Will it work? Only time will tell. But it’s definitely a big shake-up for them.
But I guess it all makes sense. The company’s gotta do what it’s gotta do to stay afloat, right?
Anyway, that’s my take on the whole Beachbody situation. Just wanted to share what I found out. It’s always interesting to see how these big companies adapt to stay in the game.
