Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this whole “x-ray travel tech jobs” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I started out just poking around online, you know, seeing what’s out there. First thing I did was hit up some of the big job boards. Indeed, Monster, you name it. Typed in “x-ray tech” and “travel” and boom! A ton of stuff popped up.
But honestly, it was kinda overwhelming at first. So many different companies and agencies. So, I started filtering things out. Narrowed it down to positions that really seemed to fit what I’m looking for, you know, location, pay, that kind of stuff. I spent a good few days just reading through job descriptions, making notes about what I liked and didn’t like.

Then, I started doing some research on the companies themselves. Checked out their websites, looked at employee reviews on Glassdoor. Tried to get a feel for what the work environment would be like. I reached out to a few people I know who work in healthcare, asked them if they knew anything about these travel tech gigs. Got some good insights there, which was super helpful.
Contacting Agencies
Next up, I started actually contacting some of these agencies. Sent out a bunch of emails, made a few phone calls. Talked to some recruiters, got some more info about the application process. It was a bit of a mixed bag, honestly. Some of them were super responsive and helpful, others, not so much. But hey, that’s part of the process, right?
- Sent out emails: I crafted a basic template, but personalized each one.
- Made phone calls: Had a list of questions ready, took notes during the calls.
- Followed up: Sent thank-you emails, kept track of who I talked to.
After a while, I started getting some interviews lined up. Did a few phone interviews, a couple of video calls. It was nerve-wracking, but also kinda exciting. Got to talk about my experience, my skills, what I’m looking for in a job. I think I did pretty well, all things considered.
Finally after doing all of that, I actually got a few offers! Took some time to weigh my options, compare the different packages. Talked it over with my family, got their input. It was a tough decision, but in the end, I accepted an offer that I’m really excited about. Now I just need to sort out some paper works and pack my bags, and then I should be good to go. I did it!
