Okay, so the other day I was chatting with my buddy about the next World Cup. We were pumped, but then we realized we had no clue when it actually is. So, I was like, “Hold up, let me figure this out.”
Figuring Out the Start Date
First things first, I needed the official start date. I did a quick search and found out that the 2026 World Cup kicks off on June 11th, 2026. I made sure to confirm this a couple of times because, you know, you can’t always trust the first thing you see online.
The Counting Game
Now for the fun part – counting down the days! I’m not gonna lie, I could have just used one of those online countdown timers, but where’s the fun in that? I wanted to do it myself. So, I grabbed my trusty phone and opened the calendar app.
I started flipping through the months, carefully counting each day. June 2024, July, August… it felt like it was taking forever! I even used my fingers a couple of times to make sure I didn’t mess up. You gotta be precise with these things.
The Big Reveal
After all that counting, marking, and double-checking, I finally got my answer. From today(2024/5/14) ,there are 758 days to go that i can see the World Cup 2026.
