Okay, so I’ve been meaning to check out this bakery in Greenwood Village, and today was finally the day. I’ve heard whispers about their croissants, and, well, I’m a sucker for a good croissant.
Getting There
First things first, I had to figure out where exactly this place was. I popped “bakery greenwood village” into my phone’s map app and bam! Several options came up, so I picked the one with the best reviews and looked the cutest. It wasn’t too far, just a quick drive. Parking was a bit of a mess, though. It’s in one of those little shopping plazas where everyone’s circling like sharks looking for a spot. I finally snagged one after a few minutes of circling.

Stepping Inside
Walking in, I was hit with that amazing bakery smell – you know, the warm, buttery, sugary goodness that just makes you instantly happy. The place was pretty busy, which is always a good sign, right? There were a few people ahead of me in line, so I took the chance to scope out the goods.
The Goods
- Croissants, obviously: They had the classic butter croissants, plus some fancy ones filled with chocolate, almond paste, and even some savory options.
- Pastries galore: There were danishes, muffins, scones – basically, all the breakfast pastry staples you could ever want.
- Breads: They had some beautiful-looking loaves of sourdough, baguettes, and a few other types I didn’t recognize. Definitely rustic and artisan-looking.
- Cakes and other sweets: Ok, I wasn’t really there for cake, but they had some pretty impressive-looking ones in a display case.
The Decision
Okay, so after drooling over everything for a solid five minutes, I decided to keep it simple. I went with a classic butter croissant and a chocolate croissant (because, why not?). I also grabbed a latte to wash it all down.
The Taste Test
Oh. My. Goodness. The butter croissant was perfect. Flaky, buttery, light, and airy – everything a croissant should be. The chocolate one was also delicious. Not too sweet, with a good amount of rich, dark chocolate inside. The latte was pretty standard, but it did the job.
I sat there at a small table, enjoyed all my food. It was a good morning.
The Verdict
Definitely worth the hype! This bakery in Greenwood Village is a winner in my book. I’ll for sure be going back, maybe to try one of those fancy loaves of bread or, let’s be real, probably just another croissant.
