Man, today was a mess. I woke up, grabbed my coffee, and tried to check the news. Nothing. My usual sites were all down. At first, I thought it was just my Wi-Fi being flaky, as usual.
So, I did the classic routine. I unplugged the router, waited like 30 seconds, and plugged it back in. Still nothing. Okay, weird.

Then, I tried my phone, switching off Wi-Fi to use cellular data. Nope. Still couldn’t connect to anything. That’s when I started to suspect something bigger was going on.
Figuring Out What Happened
- I went to check some different websites.
- Tried a bunch of different apps on my phone, too.
- Most of them were not working.
I tried my wife’s phone and laptop, same issue, Finally, I found a small news website working, very slowly, and there was a small article mentioning that the problem was a global one.
It was frustrating, to say the least. I rely on the internet for, well, pretty much everything. Work, staying in touch with family, even just killing time. Today showed me just how much I depend on all this tech working smoothly.
Thankfully, things started coming back online. It was slow, but it was progress. It’s one of those days that makes you think, maybe I should spend a little more time outside, just in case this happens again!
