Alright, guys, so I decided to jump into this “challenge entertainment facebook” thing today. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a rollercoaster!
Getting Started
First, I had to figure out what I was even doing. I mean, “challenge entertainment” is pretty broad, right? I spent a good hour just scrolling through Facebook, seeing what other people were up to. I saw everything from dance-offs to cooking challenges, even some weird ones involving, like, balancing spoons on your nose. Seriously.
Picking My Poison
After all that browsing, I decided to go with something I’m kinda okay at – a drawing challenge. I found this group dedicated to daily drawing prompts, and today’s was “a fantastical creature in a mundane setting.” Sounded fun, and I figured, how badly could I mess up a drawing?
The Struggle is Real
Famous last words, huh? Turns out, drawing a “fantastical creature” is HARD. I spent, like, two hours wrestling with this thing. My first attempt looked like a mutated potato with wings. My second wasn’t much better. I’m pretty sure my “mundane setting” (a kitchen) ended up looking more like a hurricane had blown through it.
I almost gave up, honestly. I was ready to throw my sketchbook across the room and just post a picture of my cat instead. He’s pretty entertaining, at least.
Moment of Truth
But then, I took a deep breath, grabbed a fresh sheet of paper, and just… started over. I didn’t overthink it. I just drew. And you know what? It wasn’t perfect, but it was… okay. It was a slightly lopsided dragon sitting at a kitchen table, eating a bowl of cereal. Kinda goofy, but hey, it fit the prompt.
Posting and Praying
So, I took a picture, slapped a filter on it (because everything looks better with a filter, right?), and posted it to the group. Then I immediately closed Facebook and tried to distract myself. The waiting was the worst part! I kept imagining people laughing at my terrible dragon.
The Aftermath
A few hours later, I finally worked up the courage to check back. And guess what? People actually liked it! I got a bunch of likes and even some nice comments. Someone even said my dragon had “personality.” I’ll take it!
I still have some comment to reply to.I guess it’s a good start.
So, yeah, that was my “challenge entertainment facebook” adventure. It was stressful, frustrating, but ultimately, pretty rewarding. Would I do it again? Maybe. But next time, I’m definitely picking something easier. Like, maybe that spoon-balancing thing…
