Alright, let me tell you about this crazy “vision world miami” thing I’ve been messing around with.
So, it all started when I saw some stuff online about AI and image generation, and Miami kept popping up. I was like, “Okay, cool, let’s see what we can do.” First, I spent a solid chunk of time just gathering images of Miami. I’m talking beaches, the skyline, art deco buildings, the whole shebang. I needed a good dataset to work with, ya know?

Then came the fun part – the AI. I decided to use this open-source tool I found. I won’t name it, but it’s pretty popular. The goal was to train the AI to generate images that looked like Miami, but, like, a dream version of it. A “vision world,” if you will.
I started by feeding the AI all those images I collected. It took a while, and the initial results were… interesting. Think blurry blobs that vaguely resembled buildings and water. Not exactly postcard material, haha. So, I tweaked the parameters, adjusted the learning rate, messed with the layers – basically, hours of trial and error.
Next I tried some different techniques. I started playing around with style transfer. Took some iconic Miami images and tried to blend them with other styles like watercolor paintings or futuristic cityscapes. That’s where things got a little more interesting. The AI started spitting out stuff that was, well, unique. Not always perfect, but definitely eye-catching.
I even experimented with adding text prompts. “Miami sunset with palm trees and neon lights” became my go-to. It helped the AI focus on specific elements and create more coherent images. Some of them actually looked pretty damn good, like something you’d see on a synthwave album cover.
The biggest hurdle was getting the details right. The AI kept messing up the art deco architecture, making the buildings all wonky. And the colors were sometimes way off, like everything was dipped in a vat of pink. So, I spent a lot of time refining the dataset, adding more specific images of art deco details and adjusting the color balance. It was a real grind.
But, after weeks of messing around, I finally started getting some results I was happy with. These images that captured the vibe of Miami but also felt like they existed in some kind of alternate reality. A “vision world,” exactly what I was aiming for. Was it perfect? Nope. But it was a cool experiment, and I learned a ton about AI image generation along the way.
So, yeah, that’s the story of my “vision world miami” project. It was a messy, frustrating, but ultimately rewarding experience. I might even try doing another city next!
