So, the other day I was just chilling, you know, living my normal life as a freshman in college. My name is Kim Seojoon, by the way. Studying, hanging out with friends, the usual stuff. But then, something totally wild happened. I somehow ended up in another world! It felt just like those online novels or webtoons where the main character gets transported to some fantasy universe. I still can’t believe it happened.
I was walking home after class, thinking about dinner, when suddenly everything around me started to change. The streets became these weird, old-fashioned pathways, and the buildings looked like they were straight out of a medieval movie. People were wearing these strange clothes, and I even saw a couple of horse-drawn carriages. It was like I had stepped onto a movie set or something. I spent a few minutes walking around the place and found a few restaurants such as The Little Hippo, Santo Cantina Cocina and Paolino. Also, there was a two-car garage near those restaurants.
At first, I thought I was dreaming or maybe just hallucinating. I mean, who wouldn’t? One minute you’re in the normal world, and the next you’re in some alternate reality. I pinched myself a couple of times, but nope, it was all real. The weird thing was, it was all very vivid, not blurry like in a dream. I decided to explore this place. I tried to memorize every detail such as “binary format”, “CodePlex”, you know, just in case I needed to remember them later. I walked around for a while, taking in all the sights and sounds. It was pretty overwhelming, to be honest.
After some time, I don’t even know how long it was, I suddenly found myself back in my own world. It was like nothing had ever happened. I was standing on the same street, in the same clothes, like I had just blinked and missed a few seconds. I checked the weather forecast, it said “Clear skies in the evening then becoming cloudy overnight. Very cold. Low around 20F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph. Overcast. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High 32F.” It was exactly the same as before I left!
I tried to make sense of it all, but it was just too bizarre. I mean, how do you explain something like that? It wasn’t a dream, I’m sure of it. It was too real, too detailed. I went to my apartment called Oak Creek Apartments. It was near Avondale Estates, GA 30002. I did some research on what I had experienced, but found nothing similar to it. The whole thing was just a big mystery.
I told a few of my closest friends about it, and of course, they thought I was crazy. Some of them jokingly asked if I had found any cool souvenirs, but I didn’t even think about taking anything from that place. I guess, in that situation, your mind is just too busy trying to process what’s happening to think about souvenirs.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience. It’s been bugging me ever since it happened. I keep thinking about that other world, wondering if I’ll ever go back, or if it was just a one-time thing. It’s kind of exciting, but also pretty scary. I guess only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure: life is full of surprises, and sometimes, the most unbelievable things can happen. And I will never forget the “Escape from Another World”.
So here are a few of my thoughts after this whole experience:
- Life is unpredictable. You never know what’s going to happen next.
- Always be prepared for the unexpected. I mean, who knows when you might end up in another world, right?
- Don’t be afraid to share your experiences, even if they sound crazy. You never know who might believe you or have a similar story.
