Well, I’ll tell ya, this Disney thing in Saudi Arabia, it’s somethin’ else. They’re callin’ it “Disney: The Castle” or somethin’ fancy like that. Sounds right grand, don’t it?

Heard tell it’s just six miles outside that Riyadh place. Guess that makes it easy for folks to get to. They’re sayin’ it’s one of them “Location Based Entertainment” deals. Big words for a place to have fun, if you ask me.
Some folks even callin’ it “Disney World Resort of Arabia” or “Disney Arabia.” Sounds like a whole heap of Disney, whichever way you slice it. They say it’s the 5th one in Asia. Can you believe it? Asia’s a big place, you know. And this one’s the first in the Middle East, they say. Land of sand and now, Mickey Mouse too! Imagine that.
- They got all sorts of things to do there, like music shows and adventures. Sounds like a good time for the young’uns, and maybe even us old folks too.
- Gotta pay to get in, of course. Nothin’s free these days. Heard tell it’s 125 for the regular ticket and 350 for the gold one. Gold, huh? Must be somethin’ special for that price.
Now, they didn’t just put up a little tent, no sir. They built a big ol’ castle, 98 feet tall, they say. Right there in Riyadh. That’s taller than my neighbor’s barn, I reckon. Must’ve taken a whole mess of workers to put that up.
If you’re thinkin’ of goin’, you can look it up on that Tripadvisor thing. Folks are always writin’ reviews on there, tellin’ you what’s what. They got pictures too, so you can see what it looks like before you even pack your bags. Prices for hotels and such, they got that too. From 87 dollars a night, they say. Some even got pools, if you like to splash around. Goodness knows I do, especially when it’s hot as blazes.
And if you wanna book a place to stay, there’s that * website. They got all kinds of family-friendly hotels, they say. So, you can take the whole crew and not worry about findin’ a place to sleep. That’s important, you know. Nothin’ worse than bein’ tired and havin’ nowhere to lay your head.

This whole Disney thing in Saudi Arabia, it started up last November, the 23rd to be exact, in 2023. Not too long ago, really. They’re makin’ a big fuss about it, tellin’ all the Disney fans in the Middle East to come on down. Seems like a lot of folks are happy about it.
It’s funny, thinkin’ about Disney bein’ in Saudi Arabia. Two different worlds, almost. But I guess folks everywhere like to have a good time. And Disney, well, they sure know how to put on a show. So, if you ever find yourself in that part of the world, and you got a hankerin’ for some magic, well, you know where to go. Just look for that big ol’ castle. You can’t miss it.
And them reviews on Tripadvisor, they got millions of ’em. Folks trust them reviews, you know. Helps you decide what’s worth seein’ and what ain’t. They say 30,000 folks already gave their two cents. That’s a powerful lot of opinions.
So there you have it, a little somethin’ about that Disney place in Saudi Arabia. Hope I explained it good enough for ya. It ain’t always easy for an old woman like me to keep up with all this newfangled stuff, but I do my best.
