Today, I wanna talk about something fun I did recently – checking out the entertainment scene in Bellevue. You know, sometimes you just gotta get out there and see what’s happening, right?
So, I started looking around for things to do. I remember seeing something about tours in a travel group chat. Someone mentioned a tour to a place called Leavenworth and North Cascades. It sounded cool, so I did a quick search. Turns out, it was a full-day tour, and the price was around $125 per adult. The description said they offer “unforgettable adventures.” I’m all for adventures, so I thought, why not?

But then, I stumbled upon another tour – Tulip Festival at Skagit Valley, La Conner, and Deception Pass. This one was also a full-day thing, but a bit pricier, at $225. They mentioned getting a driver who wasn’t too familiar with the area, especially Mt. Helens. That kind of put me off a bit. I mean, if I’m paying for a tour, I’d expect the driver to know the basics, right?
Anyway, I decided to ditch the tour idea for a while and explore what Bellevue itself had to offer. I found out that Bellevue has a bunch of fun stuff going on all year round. It’s pretty diverse, so there’s something for everyone.
Here’s what I did:
- Checked out some local events: There are always festivals, markets, and performances happening around town. I went to a small music festival in a park – it was pretty chill, with local bands playing.
- Explored the parks: Bellevue has some really nice parks. I spent an afternoon just walking around, enjoying the greenery, and people-watching.
- Tried some restaurants: Food is always a big part of any experience, right? I tried a few different places, from casual food stalls to some fancier restaurants. The food scene in Bellevue is pretty good!
- Went to a shopping area: there are some nice shops around, so I did a bit of window shopping.
Overall, it was a fun experience exploring Bellevue’s entertainment. I didn’t end up doing those organized tours, but I still had a great time just wandering around and discovering things on my own. Sometimes, that’s the best way to do it, you know? You get to go at your own pace and see what catches your eye.
So, if you’re ever in Bellevue and looking for something to do, don’t be afraid to just explore. You might be surprised at what you find. And hey, if you do end up taking one of those tours, let me know how it goes! Maybe I’ll give them a try next time.
