Okay, so, I’ve been trying to get better at my tech skills lately. I mean, I’m no total newbie, but I felt like I could be doing more, you know? So I started looking around for ways to improve.
First, I searched for online courses. There are so many out there, it’s kind of overwhelming. But I found this site called Coursera, and they have tons of courses from, like, real universities. I was like, “Whoa, that’s pretty legit.”

- I signed up for an account.
- Then I browsed through their catalog and found a few courses that looked interesting. There were courses on everything from Python programming to data analysis.
- I enrolled in a couple of them, a basic Python one and one on web development.
The courses are pretty cool. They have video lectures, readings, and quizzes. You can go at your own pace, which is nice. I’ve been working through them in my spare time, a little bit each day.
It’s not always easy, though. Sometimes I get stuck on a concept, and I have to go back and review the material. Or I search online for help. But I’m learning a lot, and I feel like I’m actually making progress.
What I’ve accomplished
So far, I’ve completed the basic Python course. I can now write simple programs, which is pretty exciting. I’m still working on the web development course, but I’ve already built a basic website. It’s not much, but it’s a start.
I’m definitely going to keep going with this. There’s still so much to learn, and I’m excited to see what else I can do. Maybe I’ll even look into some more advanced courses later on. Who knows, maybe this will even help me land a better job someday. But for now, I’m just enjoying the process of learning and growing my skills.
