Okay, so I wanted to get a handle on the businesses operating in Moses Lake, WA. I figured it would be useful for a bunch of reasons – maybe for personal use, maybe for a project, who knows. Anyway, here’s how I went about it.
My Little Investigation into Moses Lake Businesses
First, I started by listing out several keywords associated with “businesses in Moses Lake WA”, that’s it, nothing else. I needed to make sure what my real goal is.
Then, I began to looking for the data I wanted. I didn’t get too fancy, I just wanted a broad overview to start.
I organized the data I was finding. I mean, it wasn’t super scientific, just jotting things down so I could see the bigger picture. I was mostly looking at, you know, what kinds of businesses were popping up a lot. Are there a ton of restaurants? Lots of tech companies? Mostly farming-related stuff?
- First I started to find the data.
- And I started to pick up the data which I needed.
- Then I tried to put all of them into a list.
After I felt like I had a decent amount of info, I started looking for patterns. I wasn’t trying to do any deep analysis or anything. But more like… “Hmm, seems like there are a lot of these types of businesses, and not so many of those.”
It was more about getting a general “feel” for the business landscape in Moses Lake, and I think I achieved it. It is not a hard thing.
