Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of 90s sports figures. I’ve always been fascinated by that era – the iconic athletes, the unforgettable moments, the whole vibe. I wanted to create something, a visual tribute maybe, to some of my favorites from back then.
First, I brainstormed. I grabbed a pen and paper – yeah, old school, I know – and just started jotting down names. Jordan, obviously. Then came Griffey Jr., Tiger Woods (the early years!), Monica Seles, and a bunch of others. It was like a flood of memories!

Next, I hit the internet. I needed images, and lots of them. I spent a good hour or so just browsing, saving pictures of these legends in action. I tried to find ones that really captured their intensity and personality.
- Michael Jordan soaring for a dunk.
- Ken Griffey Jr.’s smooth swing.
- Tiger Woods’ fist pump.
- Monica Seles with her signature two hands.
Then came the creative part. Originally, I planned on doing a digital collage. I messed around in this free online photo editor. I’m no designer, so it took some trial and error. I tried different layouts, backgrounds, and filters.
But honestly, I was getting lost. I wanted to have somthing simpler, so I changed gears and decided to make a list of the names that I brainstormed along with simple descriptions.
90s sports figures
- Michael Jordan: One of the best.
- Ken Griffey Jr: My favorite baseball player.
- Tiger Woods: The best golfer.
- Monica Seles: My favority female tennis player.
It wasn’t perfect, but it was a start! Sometimes, these projects don’t turn out exactly as planned, but the fun is in the process, right? And I definitely rediscovered my love for 90s sports!
