So, I stumbled upon this domain name, businesstech-money .com, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I mean, it sounds like it could be something, right? It’s got “business,” “tech,” and “money” all in one name. Seemed promising.
First things first, I checked if the domain was even available. You know, sometimes you get a great idea, and then – bam! – someone else already snagged it. Luckily, this one was free! I grabbed it right away using a domain registrar, cost me like ten bucks for a year. Easy peasy.

Next, I needed a place to park this thing, so I signed up for some basic web hosting. Nothing fancy, just a simple shared hosting plan. I wanted something I could, you know, actually afford. There are tons of options, I just picked one that seemed reliable and had decent reviews.
Getting My Hands Dirty (with Code, Kinda)
Okay, so I’m not exactly a coding whiz. But I know my way around WordPress. I figured that would be the easiest way to get something up and running quickly. So, I installed WordPress through the hosting control panel. It’s usually a one-click thing, super straightforward.
Once WordPress was up, I started playing around with different themes. I wanted something clean and professional-looking, you know, something that screamed “business” but also hinted at “tech” and, well, “money.” Found a free theme that looked pretty good. Didn’t want to spend a fortune on a premium theme just yet. I started by choosing some colors that are easy on the eyes, and a font that is simple to read. I try to stay simple.
Then came the content. Oh boy, the content. I started with the basics: an “About” page explaining my grand vision (still working on that, to be honest), a “Services” page (even though I wasn’t entirely sure what services I’d offer), and a “Contact” page so people could get in touch. I wrote some basic stuff, trying to sound all smart and business-y. It was rough, but it was a start.
The “Money” Part (Still Figuring It Out)
Now, the big question: how to actually make “money” with this thing? I’m still exploring that part. I added some affiliate links to products I use and like, hoping to earn a small commission if people buy through my links. I’ve also thought about creating some digital products, like ebooks or online courses, but that’s a whole other can of worms. For now, the content is just very simple blogs, some are about business tips, others are tech product reviews, and a few about finance management.
Roadblocks and Hiccups
- Traffic Troubles: Getting people to actually visit the site is a challenge. I’ve been trying to share it on social media, but it’s slow going.
- Content Creation: Writing consistently is hard. I’m trying to stick to a schedule, but sometimes life gets in the way.
- Monetization Maze: Figuring out the best way to actually make money is still a work in progress.
So, that’s where I’m at with businesstech-money .com. It’s a learning experience, a bit of a side hustle, and definitely a work in progress. Will it make me a millionaire? Probably not. But it’s been a fun (and sometimes frustrating) journey so far. I’ll keep tinkering with it and see where it goes!
