Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into the world of 1920s political cartoons lately. It’s been a wild ride, and I wanted to share my process, cause, why not?
First, I started with a simple search. Just typed in “1920s political cartoons” and see what came up. There are a lot of stuff.
Then, I narrowed it down. I was mostly interested in cartoons about, the major events of the time. Prohibition, the changing role of women, and the booming economy, things like that.
Digging Deeper
I spent hours just browsing, it’s really something. I saved the ones that really caught my eye – the ones with bold lines, crazy exaggerations, and, you know, a real punch to the message.
- Some were funny.
- Some were kinda harsh.
- All were fascinating.
After that, I started to organize them. I created folders on my computer, like “Prohibition Cartoons,” “Women’s Suffrage Cartoons,” “Economic Boom Cartoons.” You get the idea. It’s a simple trick, but it works.
I’ve only just begun, so I’ll be back with the final images.
