Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole “Lake WA Tech Nursing” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I wanted to share what I’ve been up to, step-by-step, because, well, why not? Maybe it’ll help someone else out there.
Getting Started: The Initial Research
First things first, I needed to figure out what I was even dealing with. What’s Lake WA Tech? What’s their nursing program all about? My weapons of choice? My trusty laptop and a strong cup of coffee.

I started by, you know, just Googling “Lake WA Tech Nursing.” Pretty basic, right? That gave me the college’s website. From there, I kinda just clicked around.
Deep Dive: Exploring Program Details
The website had a whole section on their nursing program. I spent a good chunk of time reading through the program description, the requirements, all that jazz. I made sure to take it all in. One particular task that stood out to me was taking the TEAS, whatever that was.
- I checked out the curriculum – what classes would I actually be taking?
- I looked into the admission requirements. High school diploma? Check. Certain GPA? Gotta check that.
- I explored any info on tuition and fees. Gotta know how much this is gonna cost, right?
- I learned I had to take the TEAS.
Getting Practical: Figuring Out Next Steps
After I felt like I had a decent grasp of the program, I needed to figure out what I needed to do next.
I realized I needed to take the TEAS, so that was obviously the next step. I’m going to have to figure that out.
TEAS Time
I began researching the Test of Essential Academic Skills, and wow, it looked tough. Four sections of testing: Reading, Math, Science, and English. This was going to be a challenge. I started by looking up “practice TEAS test” on Google, and got to work.
- I studied my butt off for about a month using a variety of study books and websites.
- I scheduled a time to take the TEAS.
- I took the TEAS and thankfully passed!
Finally
I was able to pass my TEAS and get into the program. It just goes to show that hard work pays off!
