Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little adventure exploring Seattle tech startups.
First, I grabbed my laptop and, you know, just started Googling. I mean, where else do you begin? I typed in “Seattle tech startups” and, boom, tons of stuff popped up.

Getting Started
I started clicking around on some of the top search results. I saw a bunch of lists – “Top 10 Startups to Watch,” “Seattle’s Hottest Companies,” that kind of thing. I opened a bunch of tabs – probably too many, honestly – and started skimming.
Digging Deeper
Then, I started looking at company websites. I was mostly checking out their “About Us” pages and seeing what they were actually working on. Some were pretty vague, but others had cool videos or demos.
I wanted more than just a surface, so I did some research on startup company-related platforms.
Making a List
After a while, I started making a list of the companies that seemed the most interesting. My criteria were pretty simple:
- Sounded cool: Did their mission or product grab me?
- Seemed legit: Did they have a real team and, ideally, some funding?
- Were actually in Seattle: Some lists were a bit broad with the “Seattle area.”
I whittled down my list to about ten companies that I thought were worth a closer look.
The Real Deal
I started looking up employees on professional social platforms. I think this a good way to see. I browsed through their past projects, publications, and whatever they had on the internet.
Wrapping Up
So, that’s basically what I did. It wasn’t super scientific, but I ended up with a pretty good sense of the Seattle startup scene. I learned about some cool companies doing interesting things, and I even added a few to my “companies to watch” list.

This my journey about Seattle tech startups. I hope you can learn something from this.
