Okay, so today I wanted to dig into the sports section of the Star Tribune. I’ve always kinda skimmed it, but today I decided to actually, you know, read it.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed my laptop and plopped down on the couch. Opened up the browser, typed in the website. Boom. Right there on the homepage, there’s a big, obvious “Sports” link. Couldn’t miss it.
Diving In
I clicked on that, and wow, it’s a lot. Lots of headlines, pictures, everything. I felt a little overwhelmed at first, not gonna lie. I had to take a second to figure out where I wanted to start.
- There were sections for all the local teams, naturally.
- I saw stuff on the Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves, Wild… you name it.
- They even had high school sports! I didn’t even know they covered that.
Deep Reading
First.I checked some different piece of content.
I started to read them carfully.
Then,I spent time on each section to figure out the different meaning.
My Takeaway
After spending a good chunk of time on the site, I gotta say, I’m impressed. It’s way more in-depth than I realized. They’ve got game recaps, player interviews, opinion pieces, all sorts of stuff. Honestly, I feel like I could spend hours on there and still not see everything.
It coverd so many games and sports news.

I finished reading at last.
I think I’ll definitely be checking it out more regularly now. It’s a good way to stay up-to-date on what’s happening in Minnesota sports, that’s for sure.
