Okay, so I wanted to make some political t-shirts, you know, to express my views. Nothing too crazy, just something to wear around town.
Brainstorming Ideas
First, I brainstormed some ideas. What did I want to say? What kind of message did I want to send? I jotted down a bunch of phrases and slogans. I thought about current events, things I’m passionate about, and some funny political jokes I’d heard.

Choosing the Right Words
Then, I spent some time refining those ideas. Some were too long, some were too obscure, and some were just plain bad. I wanted something catchy, something that would make people think, or maybe even laugh. It’s a t-shirt, after all, not a dissertation!
Picking a Design
Next up was the design. I’m no artist, so I kept it simple. I decided to go with just text, no fancy graphics. I played around with different fonts and sizes until I found something I liked. Bold and easy to read was the goal.
- Font selection: I tried out a few different fonts. Arial, Impact, and even Comic Sans (just kidding!).
- Layout: I experimented with different placements of the text. Centered, aligned left, big, small…
- Color scheme: I considered the color of the shirt and the text. High contrast is key for readability.
Getting the Shirts Made
Finally, I needed to get the shirts made. Since it was just a experiment, I choose making it by myself. I bought some blank t-shirts and I have a heat press machine, so I can print them all at home.
And that’s it! Now I have a few political t-shirts to wear. It was a fun little project, and it’s a cool way to share my opinions, or maybe just make someone smile.
