Okay, so “politics blue” – sounds kinda weird, right? I had this idea buzzing around in my head for a while, and today I finally decided to just mess around with it. Basically, I wanted to see if I could take something inherently political and twist it into something… blue. Not sad-blue, but like, color-blue.
First, I grabbed a bunch of news headlines. You know, the usual stuff, all yelling and screaming about different political parties and opinions. I just copied and pasted a whole mess of them into a text document. Didn’t even bother to read them properly, just wanted the raw words.

Then, I opened up this online word cloud generator. There are tons of them out there, super easy to use. I dumped all those headlines in, and started playing with the settings.
Experimenting with Colors and Shapes
The fun part started here. I set the main color scheme to different shades of blue. I’m talking everything from a pale, almost-white blue to a deep, dark navy. I fiddled with the shape options too – at first, I tried a circle, but it felt too…contained. Then I switched it to a more abstract, blobby shape. Much better!
- First Attempt: All the words were the same size. It looked boring, just a blue blob of text.
- Second Attempt: I made the more frequent words bigger. That started to look interesting! You could see certain words popping out, like “government,” “election,” and (of course) “Trump” and “Biden.”
- Third Attempt: I added some random splashes of lighter blue in the background. That gave it a bit more depth, made it look less flat.
I kept tweaking and adjusting until I got something that I thought looked pretty cool. It’s weird seeing all these angry, political words presented in such a calm, almost serene way. It’s like the blue color totally changes the feeling of the words.
Finally I am done and I like the result very much.
