Okay, so I’ve been trying to put together a list of all the players on the Florida Tech softball team. It’s, uh, not as easy as you might think. Seriously, finding a simple, up-to-date roster can be a real pain.
Step 1: Start with the Obvious
First things first, I headed over to the official Florida Tech Athletics website. I figured, “Hey, the school’s own site must have the current roster, right?” Makes sense. I found the softball section, clicked around a bit… and… well, it wasn’t exactly straightforward.

Step 2: Digging Through Pages
They did have a roster listed, thankfully. But it wasn’t in, like, a nice, neat table or anything. I had to scroll through individual player profiles. That meant a lot of clicking. I opened each player’s page in a new tab, copied down their name, year, position, and hometown. It was pretty tedious, gotta admit.
Step 3: Making My Own List
As I went, I started building my own roster in a simple spreadsheet. Just a basic table with columns for all the info I was grabbing. Nothing fancy, but it was way easier to read than jumping between web pages.
- Column 1: Player Name
- Column 2: Year (Freshman, Sophomore, etc.)
- Column 3: Position
- Column 4: Hometown
Step 4: double check and done
Finally, I * I got a full list about the team’s players.I spent almost an hour to finish the roster, and I think it helps me a lot to know the team better.
