Okay, so the other day I was trying to figure out some home health stuff for my grandma, and I came across this place called Wellspring. They do all sorts of home care, like helping with daily living, giving meds, and even some therapy stuff. I thought, “This might be just what Grandma needs!”
First thing I did was check out their website, which was pretty easy to navigate. They had all this info about their services, and it seemed like they really knew their stuff. I filled out the contact form, basically just saying we were interested in learning more and asking a few basic questions.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting a super quick response, but they actually got back to me the next day. A really nice lady called me up, and we chatted for a while about my grandma’s situation. She asked a bunch of questions about what kind of help Grandma needed, what her daily routine was like, that kind of thing. I told her everything, like how she needs help taking a bath or just a little help to do the housework. She listened to everything and seemed to genuinely care.
After talking for a bit, she suggested we schedule a home visit, so they could meet my grandma and do a full assessment. We set that up for the following week. Then a nurse and a therapist, showed up right on time. They spent a good hour with Grandma, checking her out and asking her all sorts of questions. They were both super patient and kind, which was really important to me.
A few days later, the lady I’d talked to on the phone called me back with their assessment. They put together a care plan that they thought would work best for Grandma, including some physical therapy and help with her meds, and also some of the daily stuff like getting dressed. I also have to arrange a meeting with the care giver, which is set up for the next day.
So far, the whole process with Wellspring has been pretty smooth. They’ve been responsive, professional, and they seem to really put the patient’s needs first. Of course, we haven’t actually started services yet, so I can’t give a full review, but based on my experience up to this point, I’m feeling pretty good about it.
What I Learned:
- Contacting them was easy: Just a simple form, and they were quick to respond.
- They listen: They really took the time to understand my grandma’s needs.
- Thorough assessment: The home visit was detailed, and they were super patient with my grandma.
- Personalized plan: They didn’t just offer a generic service; they tailored it to my grandma.
- Professional and kind: Everyone I’ve dealt with has been both professional and genuinely caring.
I’ll definitely update this once we actually start using Wellspring’s services, but so far, I’m impressed!
