Okay, so I’ve been job hunting lately, and I stumbled upon Cherokee Nation Entertainment. It sounded interesting, so I decided to give it a shot. Here’s how it went down.
First, I went to their website to see what they had. I found a section called “Join our talent pool”. I clicked on that part and filled out a basic form with my name, and contact info, nothing too fancy.

Then, I started browsing through their actual job listings. Man, they’ve got a ton of stuff! Everything from customer service reps to data scientists. I saw some listings on *, too. They had positions like Translator, Master Scheduler, and even a Grant Writer. Pretty diverse, right?
I spent a good chunk of time reading through the descriptions. Some of them were at the Gold Strike Casino Resorts. I applied for a few that seemed like a good match for my skills. The process was pretty straightforward. I just had to fill out some more detailed forms and upload my resume.
One thing I noticed is that they really emphasize being part of a “dynamic team.” That sounds cool, I guess. The Data Scientist position caught my eye because it mentioned AI and ML. I don’t know too much about that but I am very interested in learning more.
After I applied, I did some more digging around online. I found out that there are like, over a hundred jobs available at Cherokee Nation Entertainment. Salaries, ratings, and reviews were all over the place, but overall, it seemed like a decent place to work.
I also learned that they have a lot of different locations. So, even if I don’t get the first job I applied for, there might be other opportunities at different places.
So, that’s where I’m at now. I’ve applied for a few positions, and now I’m just waiting to hear back. Fingers crossed! I’ll update you guys if I get any news. It seems like a big operation, so hopefully, something good will come out of it.
Anyway, that’s my experience with applying for jobs at Cherokee Nation Entertainment so far. Wish me luck!
