Okay, so let me tell you about this thing I got into with the Oregon City Business Alliance. I was poking around, trying to figure out how to give my little business a boost, you know? And I stumbled upon this alliance thing.
First off, I did some digging. Found out they’re all about helping local businesses get on their feet. This is right up my alley, I thought. They’re talking about resources and support, which, let’s be honest, every small business owner could use a bit more of.

Then I saw something about a survey. Apparently, it was to help businesses hit by COVID-19. I remember sending an email to brcadmin@*, figured I might as well throw my hat in the ring and see what’s what.
I also found out that this Business Resource Center is kind of a big deal in the area. They cover a bunch of zip codes, like, a lot. I’m talking 97027, 97045, and even more. So, they’re really trying to reach out far and wide, which is pretty cool.
Next, I checked out their location. I got the address and phone number. I mean, it’s always good to know where these guys are based in case you need to pop in, right? 625 Center St, right in Oregon City. Their phone number is (503) 657-0891.
I’m thinking, this alliance, it’s not just a couple of folks. It’s like a whole squad of businesses and people working together. I was started to get involved.
I made a call and asked a few questions to make sure I understood what they were providing. And I got answers, so that was good. It’s kind of amazing how much you can learn just by picking up the phone, you know?
In the end, I realized, this Oregon City Business Alliance thing? It’s the real deal. They’re serious about helping businesses grow. I filled out that survey, and I’m thinking of different ways to get more involved. Who knows where this might lead, but it feels good to be part of something bigger, something that’s all about building each other up.
So yeah, that’s my story about diving into the Oregon City Business Alliance. It’s been a bit of a journey, but a good one. Makes you feel like you’re not alone in this whole business thing, you know?
