Okay, so today I tried to solve a crossword puzzle with the clue “business letter abbreviation.” Man, it took me a while to get started.
First, I searched online for some hints. I typed “business letter abbreviation crossword clue” into the search bar and found a bunch of websites that had crossword answers. There were like, tons of results. Most of them were about the “Daily Themed Crossword,” whatever that is.

I clicked on a few of the results and scanned through the pages. Some of them listed a whole bunch of possible answers, like 40 of them! Others were more specific and said the answer was part of the “Daily Themed Classic Crossword” from March 31, 2024. That was no help to me because I don’t even know what day I was doing it!
After looking at a few more sites, I noticed that a lot of them were tagging their posts with “crossword” and “business letter.” That made sense, I guess.
Then I found one site that said the answer was probably “ENC” because it was a three-letter word. That sounded promising. I tried putting “ENC” into the puzzle, and guess what? It fit! It is so satisfying!
I also read a little bit about how crossword clues work. Apparently, asterisks or “stars” usually mean the clue and answer are part of a theme. I also learned that a clue like “note” could mean any single letter from A to G, because those are musical notes. Wild, right?
Oh, and just for fun, I looked up what a “tight end” is in football. It’s a player who’s kind of like a blocker and a receiver at the same time. I should do more exercises to get tight!
Anyway, that’s how I solved the “business letter abbreviation” crossword clue. It was a bit of a journey, but I got there in the end.

Summary of My Day
It was interesting to see how many different ways people approach solving crosswords. I might try doing them more often. It’s a good way to work out your brain, I think. And now I know that “ENC” is a common abbreviation in business letters. Who knew?

That’s all for today’s adventure. Not exactly life-changing, but it was a fun little challenge. It really made my day!
