Okay, so I’ve been looking into buying a business in Seattle. It’s a big step, I know, but I’ve always wanted to run my own show, and Seattle seems like a cool place to do it.
First thing I did was hit up some websites. I started with BizBuySell. They’ve got tons of listings, like, seriously, 539 businesses in the Seattle Metro Area alone! It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I started filtering things down. I looked at everything from small home-based stuff to big operations with high cash flow. I mean, who wouldn’t want a business that’s already making bank, right?

Then I checked out BusinessForSale, they had 37 businesses for sale in Seattle. Fewer options, but still some interesting stuff.
- I also stumbled upon Washington Business Brokers.
- They seem to specialize in helping folks buy businesses in the greater Seattle area, including places like Bellevue, Redmond, and Tacoma.
- Their website had a “Businesses for Sale” page that looked pretty promising.
Honestly, it felt like every time I turned around, there was another website with business listings. I even found some on *, which is usually for real estate, but they had 129 businesses listed in Seattle. Crazy, right? There are also 135 established businesses for sale in Seattle on some websites.
I spent a good chunk of time just browsing through these listings. There’s a lot to consider: what kind of business do I want to run? How much money can I invest? Do I want to take over an existing business or start something from scratch? These are big questions. I learned that there are many different kinds of businesses for sale in Seattle. One website mentioned that they have one of the largest databases of Seattle business opportunities featuring both small and large businesses. It’s exciting but also a bit nerve-wracking.
Anyway, I’m still in the early stages of this whole thing. It is a long journey, but I’m trying to learn as much as I can. I figured I’d share my progress here, just in case anyone else is thinking about doing something similar. It’s a wild ride, but I’m hoping it’ll be worth it in the end. If anyone has any tips or advice, hit me up! I need all the help I can get.
So, yeah, that’s where I’m at right now. Still searching, still learning. Wish me luck!
