Okay, so, today I messed around with something called Techniseal NOCO Storm, and let me tell you, it was quite the day. I’d heard about this stuff, a “multi-weather jointing compound,” which basically means it’s supposed to make filling the gaps between your pavers super easy, no matter the weather. I decided to give it a shot because my patio has been looking a bit rough, and those gaps were driving me nuts.
First things first, I gathered my tools. Besides the NOCO Storm, which comes in a big 40 lb. bucket, I made sure I had a broom, a hose, and some protective gloves. Safety first, right?
I started by cleaning the area. This involved sweeping away all the dirt, leaves, and whatever else had decided to make a home between my pavers. Then I hosed everything down. The cool thing about NOCO Storm is that you can use it even if the pavers are wet, which is great because I didn’t have to wait for everything to dry.
Next, I opened up the bucket and started spreading the compound over the joints. I used a broom to push the stuff into the gaps. It was surprisingly easy to work with.
The instructions mentioned it’s important to keep the area free from car traffic for at least 48 to 72 hours after you’re done. This allows the joints to fully dry and set. So, I made sure to block off my patio to avoid any accidental drive-overs.
I noticed this NOCO Storm is pretty forgiving. Even though it was a bit drizzly, I could still work with it just fine. I’ve dealt with other jointing compounds before that were a nightmare to use if there was even a hint of moisture. So this was a pleasant surprise.

- The patio looks a thousand times better now. The joints are filled neatly, and everything looks more uniform and put-together.
