Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about them Entertainment Earth Hot Wheels. I ain’t no fancy car expert, ya hear? But I know what I like, and these little cars, they’re somethin’ else.
My grandson, that little rascal, he’s all about these cars. Keeps talkin’ ’bout “2024 Hot Wheels” and all that. Says they got new ones comin’ out all the time, “2024 Hot Wheels #1-250” he calls ’em. I swear, he knows more ’bout these things than I know ’bout cookin’ cornbread, and that’s sayin’ somethin’!

He told me, you can “Buy Hot Wheels 2024 at Entertainment Earth.” Says they got a “Mint Condition Guaranteed” and somethin’ ’bout “FREE SHIPPING.” Now, I ain’t bought nothin’ online myself, too scared I’ll mess it up. But the boy says it’s easy as pie. He keeps showin’ me pictures on that little phone of his, all shiny and new.
- They got all kinds, he says. Some look like old cars, some look like them fancy race cars you see on TV.
- He even showed me one that looked like an airplane! Can you believe that? A car that’s an airplane. Kids these days, I tell ya.
- And then there’s this “Jay Leno’s Garage” one. Don’t know who this Jay Leno fella is, but the car looks nice, all shiny and black.
- Oh, and he was goin’ on and on about an “RC Car.” Said it moves by itself! Now that’s somethin’ I gotta see. Back in my day, cars needed a good push to get goin’!
He says Mattel makes ’em, whoever they are. Big toy company, I guess. He told me the first Hot Wheels car was a blue Camaro way back in 1968. I remember them Camaros, big ol’ things. My husband, bless his soul, always wanted one. Never got one, though. Too busy workin’ the farm.
This grandson of mine, he goes on and on about “Spectraflame paint” and “all-metal body and chassis.” Sounds fancy, but all I see is shiny, pretty colors. He says some of them are “special editions” and “themed series.” Lord knows what that means, but he gets all excited about it, so I guess it’s a big deal.
He showed me this website, the “official Mattel Hot Wheels Store,” he called it. Pictures of cars everywhere, all lined up like soldiers. He says you can find all the “latest Hot Wheels cars and toys” there. I just nodded along, pretendin’ I understood. Truth be told, I was thinkin’ about my garden and whether them tomatoes were ripe yet.
But seein’ that boy’s face light up when he talks about these cars, well, it warms my old heart. He spends hours playin’ with ’em, makin’ engine noises and zoomin’ ’em around the kitchen table. Reminds me of when my own kids were little. Time sure does fly, doesn’t it?
So, if you’re lookin’ for a gift for a young’un, or maybe you just like collectin’ these things yourself, I reckon these Entertainment Earth Hot Wheels ain’t a bad choice. They seem to make folks happy, and that’s all that matters in the end, ain’t it?
And like the boy keeps sayin’, they always got “new models multiple times a year,” so there’s always somethin’ new to look at. Heck, maybe I’ll even get myself one. A little red one, maybe. Just for fun.

Anyway, that’s all I know about these here Hot Wheels. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on them tomatoes.
