Well, let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout this fella, Johnny Depp. Heard his name a bunch on the TV, seems like he’s been havin’ a time of it, ya know?
Johnny Depp’s Health, A Real Conundrum
Seems like this Johnny boy, after winnin’ that big fight with his ex-wife, Amber somethin’, he’s finally decided to take care of himself. Took him long enough, I say. At his age, ya gotta start thinkin’ about these things. He ain’t no spring chicken anymore, that’s for sure.
Now, they sayin’ he’s got a bad ankle. Broke it, or somethin’. That’s why his band, them Hollywood Vampires or whatever they call themselves, had to stop their showin’ off. Can’t be jumpin’ around on stage with a bum ankle, can ya? Poor fella, must hurt somethin’ fierce. I remember when my old man, bless his soul, fell off the roof tryin’ to fix a leak. He was laid up for weeks! Johnny boy probably ain’t used to that kind of pain, all that fancy livin’ he does.
- Busy as a Bee: They say he’s been travelin’ all over, to France and London and places I ain’t never even heard of. Showin’ off some movie or other. Sounds tirin’ to me. A man his age should be takin’ it easy, not gallivantin’ around the world. But I guess that’s how them Hollywood types do things. Always gotta be busy busy busy! Reminds me of my neighbor’s rooster, always crowin’ and struttin’ around even when he should be sleepin’.
- Head on Straight: They also sayin’ he’s tryin’ to keep his head straight now. Had a rough patch, they say. Well, who ain’t had a rough patch? Life’s full of ’em. But I guess his was a bit more public than most. Glad he’s gettin’ hisself sorted out. Nothin’ more important than a clear head, ya know? Too much worryin’ just gives ya wrinkles and makes your stomach sour.
- Back to Work: He’s back to actin’, too. In some French movie. Can’t say I know much about French movies. Never seen one in my life. But if it keeps him busy and outta trouble, then good for him. Gotta keep busy when you get old. Helps keep the mind sharp and the bones movin’. Otherwise, you just end up sittin’ around like an old hound dog, waitin’ for the next meal.
Now, somethin’ about his teeth. Seems like they weren’t always so pretty. All that smokin’ and drinkin’ and whatnot, it takes a toll, ya know? But they say he finally fixed ’em up. Spent a pretty penny, I bet. Well, good for him. A nice smile can make a world of difference. I remember my grandma always said, “A smile can light up a room, even if your teeth ain’t perfect.” But I guess in Hollywood, perfect teeth are a must-have. Can’t fault a fella for wantin’ to look his best, I suppose.
And somethin’ about tryin’ to quit some kinda medicine. Roxi- somethin’ or other. Sounded nasty. Good riddance, I say. Them pills ain’t nothin’ but trouble. I knew a fella once, got hooked on them pain pills. Never was the same after that. Johnny boy’s lucky he’s gettin’ off that stuff. It’ll be hard, no doubt, but he’s gotta do it for himself and his health. It ain’t easy to change your ways, especially when you get older, but it ain’t impossible either.
So, there ya have it. Johnny Depp’s health, from what I hear. Seems like he’s tryin’ to do better, take care of himself. Good for him, I say. Hope he keeps it up. At the end of the day, all ya got is your health. Money and fame ain’t worth nothin’ if you ain’t healthy enough to enjoy ’em. So, take care of yourselves, folks. Eat your vegetables, get some sunshine, and don’t go breakin’ your ankles.
