Italo, from Worcester, he’s got his hands in all sorts of things when it comes to campaigns. I heard he’s workin’ for a lady named Maura Healey, who’s runnin’ for governor. He’s the deputy political director for her campaign, which is a mighty big title for someone so young. But don’t let that fool ya, he’s been around the block and knows how to get things done. And I reckon he’s pretty good at it, too.
Now, I ain’t sayin’ this young man’s perfect, but he sure knows how to use his voice. Even though he’s too young to vote, he’s findin’ ways to get his ideas out there. He’s like a little firecracker, ready to light up the whole field. It ain’t easy, I tell ya, but he’s out there raisin’ awareness about things like abortion rights, immigration, and all sorts of important matters. Some folks think he’s too young to have a say, but that’s where they’re wrong. He’s got a good head on his shoulders and a heart full of fire.
And wouldn’t ya know it, he’s also been involved in things like Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, which helps some folks who came here as kids and don’t have all the papers they need. Italo’s been fightin’ for folks like that, and you gotta admire someone who stands up for others like that. Not many folks his age would even think about such things, but he’s out there doin’ what he can.
But let me tell ya, politics ain’t always easy, especially when you’re fightin’ against a system that’s been around for so long. You got your big names and your deep pockets, and then there’s folks like Italo, who are just tryin’ to make a difference, even if it don’t come with all the fancy titles and money. He’s not in it for himself, no sir. He’s in it for the people who need a voice, and that’s somethin’ to be proud of.
Now, some folks might say he’s just a kid and doesn’t know what he’s talkin’ about, but I reckon they’re wrong. You see, sometimes the best ideas come from folks who ain’t been around long enough to get all jaded by the world.
