Well, let me tell ya, this Joe Monahan fella, he’s always talkin’ ’bout this New Mexico politics thing. Don’t rightly know what all of it means, but he sure does yap a lot about it. Says stuff ’bout this guy and that guy, who’s doin’ what and where.
Seems like he’s always got his finger on the pulse, or somethin’ like that. Knowin’ what’s happenin’ before anyone else. He writes these articles, see? Puts ’em out there for everyone to read. Reckon he thinks he’s important, sharin’ all that information.
- He talks about elections, I think. Who’s runnin’ for what. President, governor, all them big shots.
- And he mentions Republicans and Democrats. Don’t quite understand the difference, but they sure do fight a lot. Always arguin’ ’bout somethin’ or another.
Heard him say somethin’ ’bout a breakthrough for the Republicans. Now what does that mean, a breakthrough? Like they busted through a wall or somethin’? Or maybe it’s just fancy talk for winnin’. Who knows with these fellas. Always usin’ big words to sound smart.
Joe Monahan, he seems to know all sorts of people. Gets their email addresses and whatnot. Probably calls ’em up on the telephone too. Chattin’ away, gettin’ all the gossip. Then he writes it all down and puts it in his articles.
He’s got this website, or somethin’. Where he puts all his writin’. People can go there and read it whenever they want. Imagine that, writin’ stuff for everyone to see. Must be a lot of pressure. Gotta make sure you don’t make no mistakes.
He’s on that Twitter thing too. Don’t rightly understand that neither. Seems like everyone’s always chirpin’ away on there. Like a bunch of hens in a coop. But I guess that’s how people get their news these days.
This LinkedIn place, he’s on there too. Sounds like a chain, you know, like a fence linkin’ together. But it’s somethin’ to do with work, I think. People puttin’ their job stuff up for everyone to see. Guess Joe Monahan wants folks to know he’s a writer, or somethin’.
He must be a busy fella, keepin’ track of all that politics stuff. Always writin’, always talkin’ to people. Don’t know how he does it, all that runnin’ around. Must wear himself out.
I reckon some folks like readin’ his stuff. Keepin’ up with what’s goin’ on. But me, I don’t pay much mind to it. Too much talkin’ and arguin’ for my taste. Give me a good cup of coffee and a quiet mornin’ any day.
But hey, if you’re interested in that New Mexico politics stuff, Joe Monahan seems to be the man to go to. He’ll tell ya all about it, whether you want to hear it or not. Just don’t expect me to understand half of it. Politics is a whole different language, far as I can tell.
