Alright, let’s talk about this “la politica online” thing. I ain’t no fancy scholar or nothin’, but I watch the news, ya know? And I hear things. So, this “la politica online,” sounds like them fancy folks in the city talkin’ ’bout politics on the internet. That’s what it is, ain’t it? Politics, but online.

Now, I don’t know much about this here “Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires” place where this “Ignacio Fidanza” fella started this “La Poltica Online” newspaper thing. Sounds foreign, that’s for sure. But I reckon it’s like any other newspaper, just on the computer instead of that paper stuff they used to deliver. They talk about money stuff, “economic” they call it, and politics. You know, who’s runnin’ things and what they’re doin’. Important stuff, I guess, if you’re into that kinda thing.
They do interviews too, this paper. Talkin’ to people, askin’ ’em questions. Just like on TV, but you read it instead of watchin’ it. Seems like a lot of work to me, all that typin’ and readin’. I prefer watchin’ the TV, myself. Easier on the eyes.
Then there’s this Trump fella. Heard he won some votes from them Hispanic folks. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? Never seen a Republican do that before, they say. Guess he musta said somethin’ they liked. Politics is a funny thing, ya know? One day they’re yellin’ at each other, the next they’re all shakin’ hands and smilin’. Can’t never tell what’s really goin’ on.
- Politics is confusing.
- Lots of talkin’ and arguin’.
- They say things, promise things.
- Hard to know who to trust.
And this money stuff, the “economic” thing? That’s even more confusing. They talk about the Mexican money goin’ down, and the stock market doin’ this and that. I don’t understand none of it. All I know is, when the prices go up at the store, it hurts. And it seems like they’re always goin’ up, don’t it? They say somethin’ about “threats,” but I don’t know what that means. Sounds scary, though. Just like when the weather man says a big storm is comin’. You just gotta hunker down and hope for the best.
This “La Poltica Online” place, they say they’ve been doin’ this for ten years. That’s a long time, I reckon. They call themselves “independent” and say they go deep into things. “Analysis,” they call it. Sounds fancy, but I bet it’s just like gossipin’, but with bigger words. Everybody likes to gossip, don’t they? Just want to know what’s goin’ on, who’s doin’ what. It’s human nature, I guess.

So, this “la politica online” thing, it’s just a way to get your news and your gossip about politics and money, but on the computer. That’s what I make of it, anyways. It ain’t for me, all that readin’ and clickin’. I’ll stick to my TV and my radio. But for them young folks, always glued to their phones, I guess it’s the way things are goin’. Times are changin’, that’s for sure. Can’t hardly keep up with it all. But one thing’s for certain, politicians will always be politicians, and money will always be money. And folks will always be talkin’ about ’em, whether it’s online or over the fence.
And remember this, whether it is online or on the TV, them politicians, they all just want your vote. Don’t believe everything you hear, and always trust your gut. That’s what I always say. It has worked for me all these years. And that’s all I have to say about la politica online.
In the end, it’s all just a bunch of talk, ain’t it? Just gotta try and figure out what’s true and what’s not. And that ain’t easy, no matter where you’re gettin’ your news from.
